Memories of BIBA 2017
With a few weeks to go before the team from Barbican Protect exhibits again at the BIBA Conference in Manchester, we take a look back at the success of last year’s event. At BIBA 2017, we had the opportunity to speak with brokers about how we can best continue to support them in challenging that ‘one size fits all’ approach.

Stuart is managing director of Barbican Protect Limited.
Stuart joined Barbican Insurance Group in 2009, most latterly as divisional manager for UK property & casualty. Prior to this, Stuart spent 5 years as client relationships manager at ACE Europe.
Stuart began his career at General Accident in 1984, moving through New Zealand Insurance and then AIG, where he progressed from property underwriter to become property manager. In 1995 Stuart joined Royal & SunAlliance in 1995 as fire underwriting manager progressing to manager for global and risk managed development. In 2001 he moved to AON as new business and development director, with both a client-facing and strategic management role.
Duncan joined Barbican in 2009 and is business development manager for Barbican Protect.
He began his career in 1980 as an underwriter and since 1986 has held a variety of distribution and development roles in both the regional and London Market.
Duncan holds a Masters Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Lancaster.
David joined Barbican in November 2009 and is property and casualty underwriter for Barbican Protect.
Prior to joining Barbican, David was at Lloyd's broker Senator and worked with a broad portfolio of clients from the UK, USA and Australia.
David is ACII accredited and holds a degree in Economics from the University of Essex.
